May I introduce myself, Rich, my wife, Mina, daughter Cindie and son Andy. We live in Aurora, Colorado U.S.A.
Son Andy (29 years) bartends at a nice country club in the Denver Metro area. He lives about 10 miles away in Aurora
Daughter Cindie (28 years) graduated from the University of Colorado in May 2002 and is now across town working in a medical lab testing and evaluating medical equipment. She lives downtown.
I work in the technology industry.
Mina works as an English as a Second Language Assistant for the Aurora Public Schools. She assists Spanish speaking children to assimilate into our English speaking culture. She loves working with 5 year olds. She is well suited for the job having raised 14 brothers and sisters, 2 kids, and a husband on her own. Mina is also the local "Avon lady."
See the Family and Friends link.
Nutmeg, our Chow dog, lived with us for 9 years, but went to sleep and never woke up on May 30, 1998. See Nutmeg: An Adventure in Life. But life must move on. We now have a spunky Chow/Sheba Inu mix, aptly named "Zorra." (she looks like a red fox) And we also have Brutus the Parrot. Any Parrot lovers out there? They are sweet pets.
Our home in Aurora is part of the Denver Mile High area at the base of the Rocky Mountain "Front Range." This neat map shows about where we live within the metro area:

In my off time (or when not traveling) I play on the computer and read. I love the history of the Southwest and California, especially the Spanish period from 1598 thru 1821.
We've met lots of good people on the Internet over the past few years. We have
exchanged visits with a couple from Israel and a couple from England. The couple
from England were here in October and we introduced them to Cimarron, Santa Fe
and Truchas. Only those who know something about the southwest know where
Truchas is. Click here to see some of these
