Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How much does it cost?

A: Fees vary by class and location. I teach at 2 different locations and prices vary, as does my schedule. All of the fee information can be found on this website. Start by clicking on the button "Course Schedules" on the left side of the screen. Just scroll down the Course Schedules page to find information about each location.

If you scroll farther down the Course Schedules page, you will find all my class schedules. These are as far as I have planned or have information available.

Q: What Supplies do I need?

A: Every course does need supplies, but to make it cost efficient for you, Wilton has created a Course Kit for most classes. They run from $25-$40 and include Tips, practice board, spatulas, bags, and general items that you will need. There are other supplies (not included in the kit) that you will need and I will assist you with this on the first night of class while going over the course objectives.

Q: How do I register?

A: Pre-Registration is required for all classes at least 48 hours in advance! Jo-Ann store registration is easy. Just go to or call the store at 10904 Trinity Parkway, Stockton, CA 95219 Park West Place - (8 Mile Road & I - 5) 209-472-1382 Sign up and pay tuition at the Customer Service Desk.

Delta Community Education registration is easy also. Just check the Delta Digest or the website for semester Schedule, fees and class codes.

Q: Do I need to purchase the Course Workbook?

A: I would ask that you do not purchase ANYTHING, except your registration and Course I workbook, until after the first night. I will go over what you need at that time. For advanced courses, when you register you will receive a list of what to bring to the first class.

Q: Are these courses hard?

A: No, Cake Decorating is not at all hard, and it's a lot of fun. I walk you through step by step on how to do a particular technique and we practice it several times. Not only do you learn great decorating techniques, but you also make friends with others in the class.

Q: What time are the classes held?

A: Classes are held at different times of day. Some Morning weekday classes, evening weekday classes and occasional special project classes on week-end days. Just check the schedules.

Q: What about holidays when Delta College & JoAnn are closed?

A: I schedule around Delta & Joann's holiday hours and if they fall in the middle of a class then we just skip that week and continue on the next.

Q: What if the instructor is ill or out of town?

A: If that is the case, I do have a back-up that will fill in for me. If for some reason no backup is available, then you will be contacted and the class rescheduled.
