Course 1
In this fun, four-week class for beginners, you'll learn the basics, including cake preparation, the use of pastry tubes and bags, step-by-step decorating techniques, tips from the oven to frosting the perfect cake. Star and shell borders, writing and printing and piping seasonal character decorations will be included. The course also includes an introduction to icing flower-making including drop flowers, the rose and several others. You'll also discover how easy it is to figure-pipe comical and seasonal decorations.
Accelerated Beginning Cake Decorating (1 seven-hour session) $80 per student; Two students registered together, family/friends $150.
No time to learn the four-week basic Course 1? Here's a one-day class that covers it all in seven hours. This accelerated class will take you through all of the basics... torting, filling, leveling, frosting, and smoothing; then onward to borders, writing, and flower making.
Suitable for beginners, this class is also ideal for anyone needing a quick brush-up on their decorating skills. However, because it is designed to be very personal and informative, the class is limited to only six students. That way, each student can get the most out of personalized instruction.
Course 2
After you've taken Cake Decorating I and know the basics of cake decorating, COME, build on those skills! I will teach you new exciting techniques to add to your decorating skills! You will learn new borders, Royal and Colorflow Icings, Advanced Flowers, Basketweave and more!
Course 3 - Cake Decorating III - Fondant
This is a great workshop to take once you have the basic decorating skills. (CD-I) And for previous CD-III students this CD-III has a lot of new information and techniques.
We will cover the basics of working with fondant:
You will create an elegant cake suitable for any formal occasion or fancy party. Bring your basic cake decorating kit to class.
Course 3 PLUS - Advanced Special Projects
Consisting of four 2-hour classes, this is a challenging course to take once you have completed Courses I, II, and III. This is the perfect class to explore new techniques, information and skills. Each week we will choose a project or topic for the following week. Some possible projects include:

Advanced Royal Icing Flowers Course
In this six-week (18 hour) course, you will learn over 20 new flowers, new techniques for adding these flowers into your cake decorating, and we will assemble one cake the final week of the course.
