Pedersen, Ben Dale age 86, of Bloomington, died July 25, 2008. 

Preceded in death by parents, Soren and Mata Pedersen; 4 brothers and 2 sisters. 

Survived by wife, Adeline; daughters, Valerie Pedersen and Andrea (Brian) Lind; son, Baxter; grandchildren, Rosine and Greta Johnson, Dillon and Jenny Lind; brother, Leslie; and many other relatives and friends. 

Ben was born in Elk Horn, IA and graduated from Luana High School in Iowa. He served in the Army during WWII with service in India for about a year before the troops began being discharged. Cruise ships brought them home. After graduating from St. Cloud State College, he taught Social Studies in Huntley and Moose Lake, MN high schools before joining the faculty staff at Richfield Senior High School. There he taught American History and Behind-the-Wheel Drivers Education to sophomores for 27 years. 

Funeral service Wednesday, [30 July 2008] 11 AM, Christ the King Lutheran Church, 8600 Fremont Ave. S. 

Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday, 5-8 PM, Gill Brothers Bloomington Chapel, 9947 Lyndale Ave. S. and 1 hour prior to service at church. 

Memorials preferred to the church or a charity of donor's choice.
