Be gentle! A metal or hard rubber currycomb should not be used here. Use a curry mitt followed by a medium to soft brush to whisk away accumulated dirt and debris. Many horses enjoy having the inside of their ears gently brushed out too. A damp cloth can be used to remove any dirt and dust around the eyes, but be very careful not to force any debris into an eye.
