U.S. District Court Judge Carlos Moreno, Cl. of 1966, visited LHS students,
discussing appointment to California Supreme Court and way back to
his school days.

Plaques in front of Auditorium- Plaques
From the 50's until the mid-70's, each graduating class had made a
metal plaque displaying its class name and a
graphic symbol for the class. Each plaque was set in cement in
the front of the Auditorium as each class graduated.
Included was a "time capsule" under the plaque, to be opened some time
in the future. This tradition stopped as
the metal shop which produced most, if not all, of the plaques was
no more, a victim of budgets, attitudes and priorities.

The Campus:
1- Football
field, 1998 The old
version of the football field with the bleachers before they were replaced
and the old temporary stands in front on the track.
2- In front of Adm. Bldg, Lawn The October '98 Parade and Health Fair brought out a large crowd to the campus- here's one view of the afternoon's visitors.
3- - Luncheon, 9/98 Here are some of the alumni (and student helpers) of various classes at the luncheon after the classroom presentations were done.
4- Career Share '98 At a break during the Alumni Career Share : Fred Parra with former teacher, Mr. Lopez.
5- In front of Adm. Bldg, Lawn. The October '98 Parade and Health Fair brought out a large crowd to the campus- here's one view of the afternoon's visitors.
6- Hillside staff Here's some of the Hillside Elementary Drill Team adult staff at the after-parade activities on campus.... one is a Lincoln alum (yeaah), and one has a past which included attending Wilson High(!).
7- Softball team, 1998 At the 1998 Lincoln 85th Anniversary Parade and Health Fair: on campus- some of the girls softball team members at their booth selling food and sodas.
8- BandThis is a view of the band, "L.A. Faultline," latin/jazz flavored sounds, the members included a Lincoln alum, which entertained the audience on the day of the Fair and Parade (10/98).
9- Taking a Break A couple of gracious Lincoln Grads from '98/'97 volunteered their Saturday morning helping with the continental breakfast in the Teacher's Cafeteria for early arriving exhibitors and support staff.
