Eagle Rock's has a local paper, "The Boulevard Sentinel" in a print form and on the web at -  www.boulevardsentinel.com web page, a free print edition as well as this an on-line edition, published monthly.

The "L.A. Weekly" is a free print editionand on-line weekly collection of news articles and ads.

The other free paper, "Los Angeles New Times" has some additional events, some free, some not at

Alhambra Chamber of Commerce has a complete calendar which includes some Entertainment in the downtown area.

The City of Alhambra has its own site that lists events including the free Saturday evening Summer Jubilee and Sunday evening Summer Serenade concert schedules.


A current Calendar of events from Latino L.A. has a variety of events, usually of a cultural or ethnic flavor, some local and some not.

More music from the L.A. County Museum of Art, MUSIC  -  More concerts of assorted types, some free, some not free- but very reasonble- you may just find what you want among their listings, or you may sample some different styles for a change of pace.

Very local is the Plaza de la Raza organization, which now has an updated web site that includes EVENTS to be hosted at the Lincoln Park facility, some are notable music programs, as well as art presentations.
