- The Pontiac Tojan was a limited production luxury sports car built for Pontiac by Knudsen Automotive. Between 1985 and 1990 they made around 300 in total, and aproxamatly 16 convertables. These figures are estimated.
- I have a red 1988 Pontiac Tojan Convertable, originaly a trade from a dealer in Ft. Myers, Florida for an airplane. It remained in Clearwater, Fl. for many years untill I purchased it.
- In 1978 Russell Knudsen founded Knudsen Automotive. He first began building an Excalibur like car called the Baroque. Although very little information on these cars is avalable, it is believed that they were based on a Mercedes or Rolls Royce chassis. They were pieced from $80,000 up to $250,000, and took over six months to build just one.
