There are always problems photographing a black dog, but here are
some old AND new looks at what Stormy has been up to.
We're not about
to forget that Stormy came into our life as a result of the Tri County
Dachshund Rescue of Schertz, Texas and through the efforts of two great
ladies, Cathy Fereday-Vaughan who works with the rescue organization, and
Tres Phinizy who helped arrange transportation for Stormy. So this picture
stays. We would not have been able to have this wonderful pet if
it were not for the efforts of these two dedicated dachshund lovers. To
the left you see Tres saying goodbye to Stormy at the Des Moines airport
where we came to pick him up.
Below are Stormy pictures.
Stormy and his family again thank their wonderful Texas friends that made
it possible for him to have a new home.

Stormy took a dim view of this effort to make him look festive at Christmas time.

Obviously one of Stormy's favorite places is the sofabed we sometimes use as a substitute for a double recliner. This is also one of his favorite positions.
Stormy is very proud of the Greek fisherman's sweater he got for Christmas. He comes in with this caked with snow.
Caught in the act! Stormy had just stolen this tangerine from the kitchen and is actually eating it!
