The next reunion is scheduled for Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 23 - 27 September 2010. Heike and I will be the hosts. Planning for the reunion started shortly after the Branson Reunion 2005. Don Whalen and I had some very interesting discussions about world affairs currently taking place and left the reunion to agree to disagree. We continued our discussions by E-Mail and finally I gave him my five year prediction on how things would be in 2010. Then I told him I would host the 2010 reunion and he could read my prediction after the banquet on the last night. Following that, he could chastise me for not being able to grasp the wisdom of his council in Branson. At which time I would humbly apologize to everyone for my limitations and vow never to doubt Don again. Now that alone should be worth the price of admission to the reunion
But that's not all. While researching the Oklahoma City activities available to the reunion I found one of the restaurants has been included in a travel book "1000 Places To See Before You Die." I didn't know such a book existed, so I browsed the Internet and found there is a whole series of such books and this restaurant is in the USA and Canada version. When I got the book, I found Oklahoma City has another site on the list. And to sweeten the pot, there is another site in Guthrie.
Further details on the reunion will be included in a letter going out to everyone we can reasonably expect to contact.
