MCAS Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii from 1960 to 1962

Left. November 1960, field testing the then new M-14 and M-14 modified. Replacements for the M-1 and BAR.

Left. Just like the Marines of today we were always going somewhere, only today the equipment is a lot better.
Right. When we weren't in the field we either had inspections or Guard Duty.  Not much has changed except the uniforms.
