Daily Word for Healing -- An Overcoming Spirit

Today is July 6, 2009

God is showing me a new way of life and a better future.

   I am a child of God. The spirit of God that lives within me infuses me with light and love and a freedom of Spirit that enables me to overcome any challenge or dependency.

   So if I have adopted a habit or style of living that I know is not good for my health and well-being, I turn to that indwelling spirit of God for help. I call on God's strength to strengthen me and invite divine wisdom to lead me forward, leaving the negative habit or lifestyle in the past.

   It is not always easy to follow a new path that might take me away from what is familiar, yet I know that God is with me and provides all the strength and courage I need to face each challenge as it comes.

   Free with the freedom of Spirit, I thank God for showing me a new way of life and brighter future !

"Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you ? " -- 1 Corinthians 3:16

The Word

Should the pastor be a lady

Should the pastor be a man

It doesn’t really matter

If on god’s Word is where they stand.

So as the Word is spoken

Will you open up your heart

And let the Word enter in

So that it’s work can start

The love you feel is from the One

Who paid the debt for all

And as you strive to show that love

You may gently feel a call

To go and tell both loud and strong

For all who care to hear

The past with all my sin is gone

And heavens very near

You see the sins were wiped away

And the Word has set me free

So won’t you come and hear the Word

And find what you can be

Time rolls along at it’s own pace

I think it’s running fast

So now it’s time to make your choice

Before your time is past

So ask the Lord to enter in

And place love within your heart

And watch the work as it begins

And you will do your part.

~He Is God~

He is the First and Last,
The Beginning and the End!

He is the keeper of Creation and the Creator of all!
He is the Architect of the universe and the Manager of all times.
He always was, He always is, and He always will be ...
unmoved, Unchanged, Undefeated, and never Undone!
He was bruised and brought healing!
He was pierced and eased pain!
He was persecuted and brought freedom!
He was dead and brought life!
He is risen and brings power!
He reigns and brings Peace!
The world can't understand him,
The armies can't defeat Him,
The schools can't explain Him, and The leaders can't ignore Him.
Herod couldn't kill Him, The Pharisees couldn't confuse Him, and The people couldn't hold Him!
Nero couldn't crush Him, Hitler couldn't silence Him,
The New Age can't replace Him, and "Oprah" can't explain Him away!
He is light, love, longevity, and Lord.
He is goodness, Kindness, Gentleness, and God.
He is Holy, Righteous, mighty, powerful, and pure.
His ways are right,
His word is eternal,
His will is unchanging, and His mind is on me.
He is my Savior,
He is my guide, and He is my peace!
He is my Joy,
He is my comfort,
He is my Lord, and He rules my life!
I serve Him because His bond is love,
His burden is light, and His goal for me is abundant life.
I follow Him because He is the wisdom of the wise,
the power of the powerful,
the ancient of days, the ruler of rulers, the leader of leaders, the overseer of the overcomers, and is to come. And if that seems impressive to you, try this for size.
His goal is a relationship with ME!
He will never leave me,
never forsake me,
never mislead me,
never forget me,
never overlook me and
never cancel my appointment in His appointment book!
When I fall, He lifts me up!
When I fail, He forgives!
When I am weak, He is strong!
When I am lost, He is the way!
When I am afraid, He is my courage!
When I stumble, He steadies me!
When I am hurt, He heals me!
When I am broken, He mends me!
When I am blind, He leads me!
When I am hungry, He feeds me!
When I face trials, He is with me!
When I face persecution, He shields me!
When I face problems, He comforts me!
When I face loss, He provides for me!
When I face Death, He carries me Home!
He is everything for everybody everywhere, every time, and every way.
He is God, He is faithful. I am His, and He is mine!
My Father in heaven can whip the father of this world.
So, if you're wondering why I feel so secure, understand this...
He said it and that settles it.
God is in control, I am on His side,
and that means all is well with my soul.

Everyday is a blessing for GOD Is!

Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul, so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them.

7/4 ( Internet ) Pray for Joyce in NC with heart condition.

7/3/ ( E-mail ) Pray for Jim as he is in Hamot Hosp. in serious condition. He has a history of heart problems.

7/4 Let us never forget to pray for our services men and women. This is the day we celebrate our freedom. Today is our Birthday.

7/4 ( Local ) Pray for Calvary Baptist church for a new pastor.

5/18 ( Phone ) Pray for Dottie Jean who has MS

7/4 Update -- Continue to pray for Dottie Jean. We have

been in contact with her several times. She is in good

spirits but still needs our prayers.

7/4 - Update on Elizabeth. Elizabeth went to be with the Lord 2 weeks ago. Remember her family. She was 19 years old.

6/9 ( local ) Pray for Paul who has had a stroke. Condition is serious.

Update 7/4 Paul is improving but still needs much prayer.

6/10 ( Phone ) Pray for Larry who is going to have a kidney transplant.

6/24 ( E-mail ) Pray for a Pastor for Billings Bible Church. Small congregation that is seeking a Shepherd for their Flock.

Update -- No word from this church yet, but continue to pray for a Pastor for them.

7/5 ( E-mail ) Rick requests prayer for Mental and Physical problems. Remember him is your daily prayers.

If we are to continue the work of the Lord, and we will, then we need your prayers and support. God is moving in a wonderful way here in Western NY and as we enter the New Year of 2009 let us keep Christ " First and Formost " in our life. If we seek first the Kingdom of God and His Rightousness, then all these things will be added unto us. So Keep Christ First.
