We believe that there is but One Truth that underlies all religions and beliefs, and that under all the various creeds and dogmas, there is but one God to whom all worship ascends. We believe in the right of the individual to follow their own spiritual path while honoring all others at the same times.
About Us
Nature, Being, the Absolute, the Ocean of Consciousness, Spirit, or an actual name for God – whatever terms one uses, the almost universal belief that there is one God shows a profound oneness of human spirit.
Such a belief reveals a real conviction that an ultimate existence or essence pervades all the boundaries of the universe, and that all people and all things are of one essence.
Sathya Sai Baba, the Universal Teacher, says:”Let the different faiths exist, let them flourish, let the glory of God be sung in all the languages in a variety of tunes. That should be the ideal. Respect the differences between faiths and recognize then as valid so far as they do not extinguish the flame of unity.” A.U.M celebrates the Divinity within each and every person. We seek to help individuals of all faiths, while showing that there is a Oneness of Truth that underlies each and every tradition.
Membership in the organization is open to anyone who wishes to improve their conscious contact with the God of their understanding. No dues or demands are made upon members. They are invited to participate in A.U.M. Programs and/or service projects. A variety of programs are offered through retreats, seminars, workshops, and printed materials. All are urged to remain true to themselves and their individual churches, centers, or synagogues.
A.U.M. is a tax-exempt organization. The Spiritual Director and Trustees all serve without pay.
