Friends of Remington Woods Announces New Leadership
With the recent elections at the September 6th meeting of the Friends of Remington Woods, a new era of leadership commences
for the organization and its efforts to save the Woods. The elections followed the recent resignation of Susan Harris
as Vice President of the organization, and the advice and consent of past President Miley Bull to have new elections during
this year.
Following the elections the organization adopted bylaws which set the framework for future operations of the organization,
which is a subsidiary of the Connecticut Audubon Society.
The organization, in a letter sent following the meeting, thanked Ms. Harris for her many years of service, and for her
love of the Woods so treasured by the membership.
The following slate of officers, whose terms will end in March, were elected Thursday night:
President: Peter McKnight
Vice President: Dr. Allen Fanslow
Secretary/Treasurer: Jaclyn Rothenburg
