Owner Bio

Jeff Haynes (aka "Weather Man"), is the new General Manager of the Toronto Blue Jays starting Season 24. The fans demanded a change in Toronto because they saw that the current leadership was taking their beloved blue birds in no direction. Phone calls, e-mails, letters, newspaper editorials, and television coverage on a daily basis put enough pressure on the franchise board of directors to finally make a change. The board decided Sherman was out and Haynes was in. It was found that Sherman was being investigated for tax evasion, and felt it was better to cut ties with the longtime manager. Now the Jays fans look forward to a new manager who might actually participate in free agency, trade with other teams, and actually pick a rookie. Toronto may have forgotten how a manager works, but they will be quickly reminded in short order.

Before taking over the Jays, Jeff was a famous weather man who liked to chase hurricanes around the Atlantic Ocean. Yes, it sounds a little nutsy, but this may be the type of manager the city of Toronto has been wanting for a long time. Let's hope he doesn't direct the team, like he directs the weather on the green board.

When the "Weather Man" is not managing the team, he likes to volunteer his body to science. Scientists are baffled at the mere sight of him. They ask the question, "How did he he get so handsome?" The quest to find a way to merge his superior DNA with the common man, to make other men just as handsome as he is, will be a long strange journey.
