Owner Bio

Steve Foreman (aka High Speed), has been General Manager/Owner/Main Enforcer
with the St Louis Cardinals since Season 18, when the team was formerly known as the Marlins. Foreman belived
the team needed to move to St Louis to improve the morale of the players, not the fans. Foreman believes there will
always be fans - "There is nothing like a little arm twisting to bring them into the stadium". As for the morale of
the players, fear is their motivator. Who wants their leg broken? This team has had its ups and downs since their
expansion invitation in Season 10, but since High Speed took over, the team has at least been consistent; again - fear
is their motivator...
High Speed, before his days with the Marlins / Cardinals, was known to enforce the laws of the highway with a
night stick and steel resolve. This reputation of discipline and authority is what the city of Florida was looking
for in a new manager, for the team at the time was a bunch of hooligans and ruffians. Fans thought they were going
to a baseball game, but ended up watching a soccer game. Many a vandalized car was found in the stadium parking lot.
High Speed put an end to all that, and earned his keep as the Head Enforcer of the team.
Current endeavors besides GM/Owner/Head Enforcer duties include teaching ballet in the off season. Ballet has been
the only thing to balance out the strong side of this man's personality. Ballet lets him bring out the sensitive side
and gives hime chance to wear those lovely tights. Barishnakov was known to have lost his spot in the "Nutcracker" to
High Speed, and was quite jealous.
