Owner Bio

Alex Adler (aka Love Handles), has been General Manager/Owner/Shoe
Salesman with Giants since Season 11. In Season 11, the team was originally the Cleveland Indians.
Adler, tired of falling short in the American League, moved to the National League with the move to
San Francisco. Since then, "Love Handles" has managed respectable teams, and accomplished the unbelievable
in Season 22, with a trip to the World Series - his first ever. How the series unfolded, is another
story to be told.
Love Handles landed his job with the team when management was looking for new shoes for the team. They
were so impressed with his ability to size 25 guys with just a glance of their feet, shoe them, and pack
them out the door in less than thirty minutes. He was hired on the spot, and began to run his team like he
does his shoe store, with a lot of flash and style. "This is no payless", he says. He is always one to get
the better end of the deal when it comes to trading. What does one expect from a salesman?
Current endeavors besides GM/Owner/Shoes Saleman duties include brief stints as a graphics designer for
Nike. Michael Jordan is nothing without Handles behind the advertising. The Nike symbol was no overnight
revalation for Handles, but after 3 months of hard work, he came up with their simple little swoosh design.
Hey, he beat out 50 other designers! "It was nothing but a little blood, sweat and tears", Love Handles quoted
to the press.
