Owner Bio

David Little (aka The Great One), has been General Manager/Owner/Bookie with the Pittsburgh Pirates since the inception of the league. The Pirates have the honors to be the first DBL World Series winners, when they defeated the Oakland A's. Little has been known to take this team to their highs and lows, but continue to weather the likes of the Mets in the NL East.

The Great One was able to build his team from the money he collected, "in interest", from those who could not make their payments on time. Running numbers was his game, which helped in building the Pirates. In certain circles, it is known that The Great One has a secret chart which helps him decide on which players are worthy to don the sacred black and gold. The Mets manager has yet to figure it out, and keeps running into walls to discover the secret. Sounds like the mafia is involved here, but the mafia is just myth.

Current endeavors besides GM/Owner/Bookie duties include teaching the history of warfare at Pitt University. His specialty is the study of the Wehrmarcht machine. Don't accuse him of being a Nazi sympathizer, or you might disappear. There have been reports of missing fans during the season, who have yelled such things into the dugout.
