Owner Bio

Michael Reimer (aka Mr Met), has been General Manager/Owner/Professional Stat Stringer since the beginning of the league. This is one old crusty manager. This team has been known in some circles as the Buffalo Bills of the league, with one exception - a World Series title. At least the Mets have one of those. As for the other five appearances in the Big Show, there seems to be a lack of follow through against the American League. Yet, Mr Met continues to persevere in the face of ridicule and continues to win the division and a few NLCS Championships. So to the naysayers, stick it where the sun doesn't shine!

Mr Met started this team on the mere pennies he earned as a prodigy stat stringer for the Great One, known as David Little. As the years went on, Mr Met took on the job as the primary stat stringer for all the other teams in the league, charging an exoribitant fee, to which the managers paid, amazingly. Suckers! The fortune he amassed he has been able to sign key players to the Metropolitans.

Current endeavors besides GM/Owner/Professional Stat Stringer duties include part-time work as a web designer for various sports teams and fantasy baseball leagues. Menial work, but has to be done. Rumor on the streets is that he is the Editor-in-Chief of DBLSN News, but these are unproven accusations. Why would a manager also be involved in the media? Mr Met would have no reasons to sway the media for any reason. Those who would make those claims should watch over their shoulder, there might be a ninja lurking in the shadows ready to silence those who speak such lies.
