Owner Bio

Aaron Tinsley (aka "the Skipper"), has been General Manager/Owner/Calm Guy of the Baltimore Orioles since Season 18, when the franchise formally known as the Pawtucket Red Sox lost their third manager to alcoholism. Pawtucket, tired of changing managers, went and found the sober and dedicated Tinsley, offering him a minimal salary - which he took!

Tinsley resurrected the team with a change of name and park, thus the move to Balitmore. Quick thinking, Tinsley raised the prices of hot dogs and pretzels, and lowered the price of beer. Fans poured into the stadium, giving him the funds to make bids on top players like RHP Russ Ford. Two division titles, an ALCS pennant, and DBL World Series win are the mark of the Calm Guy's legacy so far.

Current endeavors besides GM/Owner/Calm Guy duties include brief stints as a writer for DBLSN the Magazine's "A View from the Cheapseats", plotting assassinations for world leaders, and leads the crusade to make Hollywood create the perfect Star Trek motion picture. He also hopes to see the Middle East become the first largest mirror in the world.
