Sales & Special Orders
I hope I didn't get your hopes up with this page but I do NOT take special orders and do NOT
take mail orders.
I enjoy selling my pottery at arts and crafts fairs. That is the only way I sell my work.* I like to meet you and show you what I have at that moment. That way what you see is what you get (if you want it, of course).
"Why won't you ship? Or take special orders?" A frequent question. I'm a one man operation and making and selling pottery takes so much time that I simply don't have the time to handle all the tasks that go with wrapping and shipping my wares. And special orders require a degree of bookkeeping that I have a hard time keeping track of. See me at the shows!
If we have met at a show you have a pretty good idea of what my work is like and the range of things I make. But things change. The decorative motifs I use tend to be constant, that way the new things fit in with the old items. I do make a basic range of items that doesn't change much from year to year. However I am constantly trying to come up with new things and when I do I must drop one of my old standbys. Hopefully you will like the new item and not lament the passing of the old.
I try to keep a good stock of all items on hand at shows but this in not always possible. Sometimes I simply have too many sales and not enough time to make more pottery and replenish my stock. You may be disappointed that I am out of the one thing you really want. At those times I'm disappointed too. Visit the fair as early as you can if you want something specific, or call me prior to the show to find out if I have your item in stock.
* There are some very rare occasions when I have work on sale in a gallery: about once every blue moon.
