A P R I L
:

2, 3, 4 - Menlo Park, CA. A high-quality, fine-arts-oriented spring show - in its 22nd year - on Santa Cruz Ave. off El Camino Real. I'm usually near the corner of tree-lined Santa Cruz Ave. and Chestnut. Come "Celebrate Spring!"

23, 24, 25 - Walnut Creek, CA. One of the top outdoor Fine Arts shows in the country. A true feast for your artistic sensibilities. I will probably be in my new location between Bonanza and Cypress on N. Main St.

M A Y :

2 - Lodi, CA. Lodi Street Faire, 8am-4pm. A giant, fun festival that takes over downtown Lodi, with lots of art, crafts, antiques, food, civic booths, and some junk thrown in for good measure.

8 - San Jose, CA. The Berryessa Art & Wine Festival, 10am-5pm. In the new, easier to find, location, Penitencia Creek County Park. From Hwy. 680, Berryessa exit, go east about a half mile. A fun "Festival" in a nice park.

15 - Lincoln, CA. ClayFest, 10am-5pm, in and around Beerman Plaza, downtown Lincoln (on Highway 65, north of Roseville). This is a wonderful clay-oriented fair. Don't forget to schedule time to see the Feats of Clay art show at the nearby, historic Gladding McBean factory.

J U N E :

5 & 6 - Art Fiesta, Sacramento, CA. A Sacramento Fine Arts tradition, and probably the best show in the area. I expect to be in my new "usual spot" across from Trader Joe's, in front of Blockbuster - in the Town and Country Shopping Center, at Fulton and Marconi.

18, 19, 20 - San Carlos, CA. This is the 7th annual summer fine arts show on Laurel Street (one block off El Camino). This show is a sidewalk Art Show (not a wine festival, like the fall show). I'm usually somewhere near Cherry Street.

J U L Y :

9, 10, 11 - Montclair (Oakland), CA. Nestled in the Oakland hills (just off Highway 13), the Montclair area hosts some great art shows, and this is one of them. I'm usually on Mountain Blvd., near the middle of the show.

30, 31, & Aug. 1 - Homewood, Lake Tahoe, CA. A great arts and craft show in the Homewood Ski Area parking lot, right along Hwy. 89, 5 or 10 miles south of Tahoe City. What a wonderful scenic place to be! Come on up - get out of the heat and pollution.

A U G U S T :

6, 7, 8 - Homewood, Lake Tahoe, CA. A great arts and craft show in the Homewood Ski Area parking lot, right along Hwy. 89, 5 or 10 miles south of Tahoe City. Take a short vacation to a beautiful place with lots of good art and craft.

13, 14, 15 - Mammoth Lakes, CA. This will be the 32nd time for this small, top-quality show is in the parking lot of Kittredge's Sports Shop, right on Hwy. 203. Spectacular scenery and good art, what more do you want!

27, 28, 29 - Homewood (Lake Tahoe), CA. This is such a good show and such a wonderful area, we're doing it again (see earlier write-ups for directions). Stop by if you're in the area; take a drive if you're not (it's worth it).

S E P T E M B E R :

10, 11, 12 - Walnut Creek, CA. This is a new time of the month for this wonderful show (it used to be later in the month). A repeat of the great spring show, with a sprinkling of new artists and craftspeople.

O C T O B E R :

9 & 10 - San Carlos, CA. This 14th annual Art & Wine Festival on Laurel St. (one block up from El Camino) is very popular. A true "festival" with something for everyone: art, crafts, wine, beer, food, antiques, etc. I'm usually somewhere on the show's northern block. ***

15, 16, 17 - Menlo Park, CA. Similar to the great spring show, but with a few more crafts added in for this "Fall Fest of Arts & Crafts." I expect to be in the same spot, Santa Cruz Ave. at Chestnut.

30 - Rancho Murieta (Sacramento), CA. Rancho Murieta is east of Sacramento on Highway 16, heading toward the Gold Country. This is a nice friendly holiday show at the Ranch Murieta Country Club.***

N O V E M B E R :

13 - Vallejo, CA. This years "Hearts and Hands for Solano" is the 33rd annual. It's a long running arts and crafts show in McCormack Hall at the Solano Co. Fairgrounds in Vallejo, near Marine World.
