12-15-2005 Krazy Horse Grill and March of the Penguins

Thursday, December 15, it got down to 36 degrees last night but warmed up to the 60's in the afternoon with a bright, sunny sky. One of those glorious Austin 'winter' days. Around 12:30 we went to Krazy Horse Grill in downtown Elgin for lunch. Bob had grilled tilapia and I had mahi-mahi with their unique fried rice. Afterwards we got groceries and cookie fixings at H.E.B. and came home and read the paper. I caught up some paperwork on the laptop, then we watched March of the Penguins. Those poor birds seem ill-suited and not very well designed for the life they lead! I asked Bob if they would all be happier if someone loaded them on a cruise ship and took them to a wildlife refuge in parts farther north. Maybe they could find a nice spot where they didn't have to walk 70 miles one way four or five times a year. Just a thought.

We watched a CSI episode and read for a while. The trailer is really cooling down tonight. The wind must be blowing.

It's 8:30 p.m. and 44 degrees.
