By this time we worked up quite a hunger so we took showers and headed to Rapid River for lunch at Jack's. Bob had the Baked Hash special and I had Cabbage Rolls. Both were excellent. We walked next door for a Detroit News and then down to the ATM on the corner. We were back home quickly and read the paper and worked the puzzles. The wind is really blowing and now it has clouded over again. We saw Dusty, the apricot poodle, come home from his grooming session looking very spiffy!
I carried the laptop out to the picnic table and on the way ran into Dayne and Dusty. Dusty looks like he lost ten pounds at the groomer. Vickie came out and said he only weighed seven pounds to begin with. We all chatted a while but Dusty was shivering now that he's been scalped. I never did get the wireless out at the picnic table and it's too cold to sit out here and fool with it.
Vickie just knocked on the door. She had Dusty dressed up in his Harley outfit and she wanted to show us. I had to get the camera out. It was hard to get him to hold still. He kept wanting to take that annoying hat off! What a cutie. I sure was glad she brought him by to see us. Glenda will be getting some pictures from me! It's 8:48 p.m. and 58.5 degrees with a brisk wind.
