Around 1:30 we headed to The Brown Trout Restaurant in Indian River. We both savored their 'World Famous Smoked Trout Chowder.' Bob had a grilled chicken salad with raspberry vinaigrette and I had a Broiled Crab-Stuffed Portobello with Hollandaise Sauce. What a sin!
We stopped at the campground office and got a Sunday paper on the way back. Three people were signing in so I browsed and found postcards; 3 for $1.00. Back home we worked all of the puzzles and read the paper. Around 8:30 a guy with a huge red semi-truck cab backed the world's biggest 5th wheel in across from us. Bob says I bet he only stays one night. I said "No way!" (Sure enough tomorrow morning he pulls out of here before we even have breakfast.) The guy with an old graying dachshund was walking by again this evening and stopped to talk to the 'Big Rig' guy.
Bob had to perform a little A/C thermostat surgery tonight. The thing has been acting up since yesterday. He thinks he may have solved the problem. Hallelujah! Bob and I set out for a walk down the road behind the campground to see if it came out on Hwy 27 by Mullet Lake. It did come out across the highway from the Lake. The road is called Ranch Road (kind of reminded us of Texas!) It is still very muggy out. Rain and a northwestern cool from are supposed to pass through tomorrow. We can't wait.
It's 11:38 p.m. and 72 degrees.
