06-01-2005 Rain Changes Our Plans to Move

Wednesday, June 1, we planned to move today but rain was threatening on the weather radar. By the time we were done with breakfast it actually started raining. So we made a decision to stay for another day. Bob played around on the Internet and I went up to the office to pay for another day. I talked to MaryAnn for a while and it poured rain while I was up there. It soon quit and I walked back home. Since I had the camera with me in my purse I took a photo of our camp site. I've been meaning to ever since we got here since it was one of our longest stays. I almost missed my opportunity.

We read for a while then went into Lebanon and had one last feast at New China Buffet Mongolian BBQ. We really love this place and can't decide which is better; New China or Famous Chinese in Smyrna where we ate yesterday. But it sure is fun trying to decide! We headed home with our newspaper and lounged the rest of the afternoon. It really never rained that hard but we were glad to have a day of rest.

There were only six RV's left here today. The holiday crowd is gone and just us full-timers are left. A chain-smoking lady with two poodles in a Class A, along with her husband moved in around 3:00. Early this morning two 60-year old ladies traveling alone in a Class A packed up and left. I admire their pioneering spirit.

It's 6:10 p.m. and 67.5 degrees. Tomorrow has rain in the forecast too so you never know if we'll leave or not. That's okay, we like it here.
