It was around 85 degrees so it's a good thing we were in a cart. I played well and had one of my lowest scores on the back nine. The forward tees were a short 5,126 yards with a slope rating of 115. Bob played the White tees at 6,069 yards and a slope of 119. We enjoyed our playing partners. Roger asked if we were always in our RV or did we stay in hotels as we traveled. He couldn't quite grasp that we actually lived in the thing.
We were done by 4:00 and headed to Chili's. It's a brand new location and they didn't quite have it all together yet. We got a paper at the Mapco and encountered a traffic mess at Hwy 109 and I-40. Back home we read the paper, cleaned up and sat out in the lawn chairs where it was cooler. The little white dog, Serena we found out, from next door hot her leash loose from the lawn chair. We pointed her out as her 'Dad' frantically called for her. So we met our neighbors from Florida; Dave and June. She had BBQ ribs going in a roaster on their picnic table that smelled like heaven. They must know the people on the other side of them because this is the second evening they all gathered round their picnic table for dinner.
We went inside to watch Antiques Roadshow, 24 and CSI:Miami. It's 10:26 p.m. and still 67.0 degrees.
