Robert Reed World Coins has been a full-time mail order dealer since the late 1970's. We are generalists rather than specialists. We deal in the entire world - Afghanistan to Zimbabwe and encompass the time period from 1600 to the present. From time to time we also offer some medieval and ancient coins.
Although I do not specialize in a particular country or time frame, my greatest emphasis has been world gold and crowns for all countries except the United States. In spite of this particular emphasis, you will often find hundreds of minors and modern proof sets and singles on any one list. Our lists usually contain a little something for everyone, with coins from only a dollar or two up to $1000.00 and more. From beginner to advanced collector, you should find some items of interest on any new list.
Since my prior business background has been in the discount chain store business, I have adopted this same philosophy for my mail order coin sales. Discount pricing has always been part of our business philosophy. Slightly lower prices and higher volume have been my approach to business for the past 15 years. I strongly urge your "comparison price shopping." No one can have the lowest price on every coin every time, but my long-term customers tell me that I consistently have some of the lowest prices in the coin industry. Perhaps the fact that the greater percentage of my customers are other dealers, who buy at my listed prices, will give you some idea of my pricing structure. One of my advertising slogans has been: "buy where your dealer buys and save!"
