I'm LATE LATE LATE LATE LATE so sorry to anyone stupid enough to want to use these rankings to determine where to put their money. THIS SEASON I PROMISE I'll have that third ranking system up before the bowl games. The code is mostly done, it just is unstable and doesn't always converge.
Right now we're just going to start off with the rankings as of Week 8 of College. Both Wisconsin and SDSU are better ranked in my systen than Colley's, therefore my system is so far superior.
Week 9 of College NFL Week 7 with preseason regulationUpdate, 2005 January 18--Well, you saw how the college bowls ended up, and it's not like my ranking system the morning of the bowls would have been any help to you. At least Colley made the same prediction as me. Here's regulation football standings at the end of the season, and after week 2 of playoffs. And man oh man is it hard to play catch-up with college basketball. I'm only up to January 4th. This thing had better win me some money come march.
And the super bowl prediction is......Pittsburgh over New England??? This is why I'm not going to bother with ranking NFL teams next year. It seems like both my own and Colley's ranking systems fall apart when too many games are repeated in the same season. Also, here's college basketball standings to January 15th.Yay New England! Winning over Philly finally got you enough respect in postdictive rankers to put you on top. Also, here's college hoops, and they're actually up to date (February 6th)!
And here we are, with the final standings after the NCAA college hoops season. Go Badgers! Look alive against Kentucky!
After rounds one and two of the championship.
Coming into the final four.
