What special seed do the Red Siskins require?The Red Siskin Project did receive free prepared seed by Kellogg's Seed which later changed it's direction and no longer supplies this dry or soak seed mix. The original receipe is below. We recommend our breeders attempt to mix their seed as close to this balanced diet as possible. RSP has been unable to locate a company to duplicate the generosity it received from Kellogg years ago. RSP found a supplier willing to sell a customized mix for it's breeders to purchase.
