Where do these pets come from?

ALL animals are rescued.

Meaning - abandoned,  stray, given up by owners who can no longer afford to care for them,  or taken out of bad situations.

In many cases my customers have rescued kittens from feral mothers and have brought them to me.

Do you rescue just cats / kittens?

No,  we have rescued dogs,  rabbits and birds.

Have all these pets had shots,  been spayed or nuetered?

Not always!  This past year I paid for 11 cats to be spayed.  We took 18 others to the vets.  I am one person -and this is completely non profit!! When and if I get donations they are very limited!
*March 2008   -I had 5 more cats spayed/neutered

Are these pets healthy?

Yes, I would never put a sick pet up for adoption.  These pets are immediately given flea treatment, dewormed and given ear mite medication as a precaution.  If I feel any pet is sick I take them to the vet.  However,  there is never any guarantee.

How can I adopt a rescued pet?

You MUST provide a good home.  You MUST promise to take your pet for a vet visit. (and sign a contracting stating you will)  I have said "no" before.  Not just anyone can walk in and adopt a pet.  These pets have been thru a lot of hardship,  they deserve a good responsible owner!  I ask for a small donation as well.  If you cant give a small donation then I will assume that you cant financially take care of this pet!!  The donation also helps other pets in need.

How can I help?

Simple,  donations of cat/dog food,  litter, old blankets, pillows are very helpful.  Cash donation will help us spay / nueter and control the pet population!

I would first like to say that Robin is a good friend and wonderful individual. She has dedicated her unwavering love and devotion of animals everyday. Her family stands by her and shares the compassion of her cause. She has raised her daughters to love and respect all living creatures. They too have seen the unfortunate and unnecessary evilness that is cast upon animals. The sad fate of the all to common "Disposable" animals. However she and her family choose to see the "glass that is half full". The positive end of their labor of love is that they have saved and found 122 loving homes for these abandoned souls. This is what keeps them going each and everyday.
The love they give is completely unbiased. From the tiniest creature to the largest. They never see the "ugliness"  in any creature.
Anyone who knows Robin will tell you she always has an open to door for anyone with any questions or help needed. She does not overwhelm herself by taking in too many at one time. However, she is always willing to help and won't say no to a critter in need.
So many animals cry out for help. So many are passed by and ignored. Left to suffer and more so than not, die.
For the ones that it's not to late, they can give them a second chance at love and happiness that is so deserved. Robin answers the cries that go unheard. They do all they can to remove them from their pain and suffering. They try to spend individual quality time with each animal. They give them love and kindness. In time their trust is earned and the healing begins. To rehabilitate and place an animal into a loving home is an indescribable reward.
For the many that it is too late. God Bless them. We pray their suffering was not dragged out and torturous.  Although we see and here this all to many times.
Robin and her mini fleet have put themselves in harms way in order to rescue animals in terrible situations. Why you ask? In order for them to be out the of danger of unforgiving cruelty and neglect. I would not have two of my wonderful cats that I adopted if it wasn't for her.
A cat story with a Happy ending.
Caleb was in a violent environment of abuse. He was beaten, thrown against a wall, what looked like cigarette burns on him and in the early stages of being emaciated. This was the long cruel first year of his life. What did he do to deserve such cruelty? He was said to be vicious, that he attacked his owner. He was a "Bastard" she was told. Robin and her support rescued many that day, but were unable to catch him. He was the only one left there. Alone now the center of his abusers attention. After transporting the group rescued to a safe place, she returned for him. His fate was sealed like his deceased sibling if he was not rescued. She was determined to save him. She succeeded. This "Vicious" kitten only tucked his head in her arms frightened when being held. She any her daughters nurtured the terrified kitten with love and patience. I adopted him last year. It is amazing how he is so trusting and loving after what was done to him. He senses the love that emanates from the people who carry the true love for animals in their hearts. He is now almost 2 years old being spoiled rotten with his two brothers Jonas Quinn, (I also adopted from Robin) and Hobo another previous rescue of my husband and I.  Caleb is a loyal and loving cat that doesn't have a mean bone in his body along with his brothers. They are all safe, happy and loved thanks to their dedication and determination to HELP.
I can't say enough . What I can is say that:
She may be only one person with a small band of supporters but, the animals she rescues only see the faces of angels that took them out of Hell's fury. They have no limit of gratitude. For them it soars past the stars.

The thought of anyone hindering her the ability to continue the work she does would be disgraceful.

There are web sites that show reality and the brutality of animal cruelty. Whether it be research, fur farms, slaughter houses, animal sports, and animals tortured just because they are there.
These sites give you a glimpse of what animal lovers, rescuers and activist pour their hearts into and fight for.
A few sites are:
