Larry's first race in a Morgan three wheeler, called Red, was in 1984 at Laguna Seca. The engine, which had been contracted out for assembly, failed on the 13th practice lap.

Larry did not resume racing until 1996 after Red's original bronze engine was completely restored. Since then, he has campaigned Red at Buttonwillow, Sears Point, Laguna Seca, Thunderhill and Willow Springs race tracks.

A brief history of this historic racing Morgan trike was given in the Jake Alderson, Dennis Rushton book, "Morgan Sweeps The Board." A complete history on this racing trike was written by Larry, titled, "A Morgan Called Red, Brooklands To Laguna Seca" and published in November, 1999.

Larry's book is currently available through the publisher in Indianapolis at (800) 553-5319 to order by mail. Please contact Larry if you would like to get an autographed copy at a racing event in which he participates during the current season.
