The chassis was dispatched by the Morgan Factory on 4/27/53 to Cavalier Motors, Los Angeles, CA.  In 1983, after 30 years of use, the car was reconstructed by Lee Spencer as a replica of the 1938 4/4 LeMans/TT Special.  Four were actually built by the Morgan Factory.

In 7/85, Skimpy (as Lee christened it) was purchased by Ferrari of Los Gatos and sold to Dan Dorzbach.  In 9/96 it was sold to Dennis Glavis in Santa Cruz.  It is now raced by Dennis in Prewar class with VARA, CSRG, and HMSA. A participant in the Prewar race at the Visalia Motorsports Festival in 1998.  Raced in 1999 at Sears Point with CSRG, at Laguna Seca with HMSA, and at Buttonwillow with VARA.

Displayed by invitation at the Fairmont Hotel, San Francisco, 80th Anniversary kickoff for the 1999 California Mille Miglia.
