The Morgan 3 wheeler WN6572, a beetle back car modified for racing in the late 1930s was discovered in a chicken barn in Oxford, England in 1991. It was offered for sale in England but did not sell due to its appearance and the circumstances of its storage. It was purchased by the Barry family trust and imported to the USA in 1992. The Morgan 3 wheeler was in relatively good condition as most of the wood was solid and the metal protected by the storage environment. Some wood was replaced and the metal straightened during its restoration. Originally a Sports model with a water cooled, side valve, J.A.P. engine. It was modified for better driver operation - more arm room, the foot brake pedal changed from rear to front wheel operation and the scuttle cut down for more cockpit room. The water cooled engine was replaced in 1996 due to a broken con-rod which destroyed the engine after a race at Laguna Seca. The replacement engine was found near London, England in its original shipping crate, never having been run.

The Morgan 3 wheeler WN6572 has participated in vintage racing events with VARA and HMSA since 1993 and has been the most raced pre-war car on the west coast for the past 5 or 6 years. WN6572 was raced with VARA for several years as the only pre-war car on the track, competing with much faster and larger vehicles which encouraged interest in pre-war racing within VARA. The May Buttonwillow race has become VARA's largest pre-war vintage racing event.

WN6572 races with the number 88, but also is registered to operate on city streets as a vintage vehicle.
