Currently we don’t really know what dark matter is.  We assume that a small percent is baryonic matter, such as in the bottom picture, and the rest is non baryonic or unknown particles.  We currently believe that all the matter that we observe accounts for less than 10% of the total mass of the universe. To round off numbers, about 20 % is dark matter and 70% is dark energy.
