!!! UPDATE !!!

I went to my son's open house Sept 12th. His "Advanced CMP" teacher informed us parents that:

- there would be no homework,
- there was nothing we could do to help them at home,
- it is a bad idea to teach them standard algorithms,
- and that CMP will bring their performance down while bringing lower performing students up.

He was very enthusiastic about this!!!

This is entirely inappropriate for a math course track supposedly designed for higher performing students.

If you care about your child...
CALL YOUR BOARD MEMBERS!
DEMAND TRADITIONAL PRE_ALGEBRA
be IMMEDIATELY reinstated.
