Ride With The Dragons
My playing the role of
(the father) in the independent feature film
Ride With The Dragons,
written and being directed by
reportedly scheduled to go into "official" pre-production sometime in early 2007,
is to be filmed in Howell, New Jersey,
tentatively set currently for a late winter of 2004 shoot.
This feature film project is still
in Funds-Seeking Mode
but otherwise in the near-final stages of

Funding for the feature has suddenly stepped up apparently.
Brian emailed me and some of his other cast actors requesting from each of us an official Letter of Intent.
These can be shown to prospective investors, et al, to prove that once the film has its funding, it already has a (majority of a) cast of actors who fully intend to have Brian's vision on the screen...
"Name" actors (an indie usually needs a minimum of two performers with "box office recognition"), are giving Brian a bit of a Catch-22: they'll agree to work the film when it gets funding, and its tough to get funding without a Letter of Intent that the name actors will agree to do the film…
Considering a Letter of Intent is in no way a contract (essentially it merely expresses actual interest that one

), I don't know why they would hesitate.
