MCTimer

A Windows-based timer, for student mathematics competitions.

Provides a highly visible "time-remaining" display for students as well as audible warnings that time is almost expired and that time has expired.

Preconfigured with settings for some of the more popular US Mathematics competitions. Configurable to handle a wide variety of mathematics competition timing requirements.

Never rely solely on computers or computer software! Always operate a backup timer, such as a watch, a clock, or a stopwatch!

"Automatic" installation instructions for the Beta software:

Download the MCTimer zipfile, MCTimer.zip
Extract the contents of the zip file to a temporary directory
Run "setup.exe", which you just extracted

"Manual" installation instructions for the Beta software:

If you happen to have relatively recent versions of the required DLL's, you may get away with just downloading and running the executable.

Optionally download a configuration file -- AMC configuration or MATHCOUNTS configuration
Download and run the MCTimer executable, MCTimer.exe
