Chick McCoy
the ever talented and extremely eccentric pianist can be linked directly to
the roots of The Insignificants. It was his rather unique style, pinache,
and lest we not forget his copyrighted "Thundering Herd" bass lines that
convinced the recalcitrant Hadji to leave his Rocky Mountain hideaway and
go West, where unfortunately he hooked up with SanWich Jones. Not much
is actually known about this giant of the ivories outside of a few scant
recordings from someplace called Woodleigh Studio B, and rumors and the
myths about the goings on at some Southern retreat called Magnolia. But
one thing is for certain, this man can and should take some of the blame
for the very existance of The Insignificants.Other Recordings by Chick McCoy
