I have been a full-time artist for 20 years. I've lived up and down the West Coast, from Seattle Washington to San Diego California, on the shores of Lake Superior in Wisconsin, and in Chicago. My art reflects the diversity of places I've been and the friends I know.  I have painted cityscapes from a rooftop in San Francisco, seascapes on Big Sur  beaches, portraits of skinheads in Santa Cruz coffee houses, and plein air landscapes throughout the Southwest.  In Chicago I produced works that reflected the pop-art and folk art interests there.  In Wisconsin I concentrated on Lake Superior plein air works.  My abstractions have a biology meets technology feel. Nothing makes me happier than doing a portrait of a fiberglass animal.
