Substitutions may be made for most parts. Substituting a different lamp or using an LED may need a resistor added to the circuit --see plans. All Radio Shack Parts are available at www.RadioShack.com some parts are not stocked by your local Radio Shack.
*2 momentary switches are needed if the key switch is not use. The Radio Shack package includes 2 such buttons, the red one is used for the fire button. The black one can be used in place of the key switch.
**2 tiny alligator clips are needed, this radio shack pack includes 10 insulated clips. The insulation is not needed and could melt during launch. I removed them.
***2 are needed four are in the package
++Radio Shack discontinued the key switch. Try a web search for Electronic

a key switch can be made with a 1/4" phone plug and jack or a mini plug and

as a key when inserted in the jack. Be sure to use an open circuit
jack.
