- Carnegie Endowment for International Peace
- The Endowment is a private, non-profit organization founded in 1910. It publishes Foreign Policy, one of the world's leading magazines on international politics and economics. Media Transparency lists one donor: Smith Richardson Foundation.
- Peace Palace Library
- This library houses the largest collection relating to international law and is the repository for the Grotius Collection, the collection on Hugo de Groot, the founder of the science of international law. The site contains a bibliographic database on international law, diplomatic history, and the history of peace movements. It provides links to international law libraries. Unfortunately, because of licensing restrictions, many of their database links are only accessible within the physical library. However, you can note the database and see if it is accessible at your local or university library.
- United States Institute for Peace
- Founded in 1984, this is an independent, nonpartisan federal institution created and funded by Congress to strengthen the nation's capacity to promote the peaceful resolution of international conflict. Its Board of Directors is appointed by the President and confirmed by the Senate. Access online journals and articles, regional resources, research centers, search engines, and the Margarita S. Studemeister Digital Library in International Conflict Management, a database of full text peace agreements from 1989 and a list of truth commissions.
- Women's International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF)
- This is the site of the U. S. Section of the women's peace organization founded in 1915 which grew out of the woman suffragist movement. Jane Addams, the 1931 Nobel Peace Prize winner, was one of the founders.
