This project is a resource for the study of homicide, crime, urban development, the police, Chicago, and the rule of law or lack of it.
National Archive of Criminal Justice Data (NACJD)
The mission of the National Archive of Criminal Justice Data is to facilitate research in criminal justice and criminology, through the preservation, enhancement, and sharing of computerized data resources and through the production of original research based on archived data. The site aids users with the identification of appropriate criminological and criminal justice data collections on specific topics, custom subsetting of selected data files through its online Survey Documentation and Analysis section, and assistance with the retrieval and use of files obtained from the archive.
