Veterans

Military Records Requests: Veterans Records are kept by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). Veterans and family members of deceased veterans can use this site to request veterans records. Options for submitting the appropriate form are given for faxing, mailing, or submitting the request online.
U. S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims: Use this site to access the court decisions regarding veterans' claims. Note this is not an easy site to use. Files are zipped so you will need to have an unzip program; the files are also in Word Perfect, so you will need to convert them to work in a Word environment. It appears the appellant's last name is used in the file name.
U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs: Use this site to access information regarding veterans' benefits, locations, organizations, and more.

Department of Homeland Security: Access information regarding security matters and agencies including information for first responders, business, travel, passports, FEMA, grants, security threat levels, and more.
EStrategy.gov: Use this site to access information regarding web best practices, ID management, e-government related regulations, laws, and policies. E-government's mission is to develop, coordinate, and define ways that electronic and information technology business strategies can assist the Office of Management and Budget, interagency committees and other federal agencies to enhance access and delivery of information and services to citizens, business partners, employees, agencies, and government entities.

Central Intelligence Agency (CIA): This is the web site of the governmental agency charged with providing national security intelligence to senior United States policymakers.
Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI): The web site of the government agency charged with protecting the country from dangerous threats from mobsters and terrorists to killers and corrupt government officials.
Report of the FBI's handling of Intelligence Information Related to the September 11 Attacks: This is a copy of the report by the Justice Dept's Office of the Inspector General posted by the University of Michigan in chapters for easier downloading. Classified information is redacted.
