A Tribute to our dog Guinevere

December 27th, 2007, our dog Guinever passed away. Here is a small tribute to our lives together.

Guinevere was born in October 1994 and arrived in our house in Noember 1994. We first had our dog Mordred. But after 4 months of trying to calm the very large active puppy down, he started eating the siding off our house. So, our solution was to get our dog his own puppy. Meet Guinevere.

Guin had no fear, and Mordred stopped eating the siding on the house.

Guin's favorite hobby was chasing cats. This was even tougher on her when she realized she had a cat in her own home. Mordred and Guin would spend hours watching our cat Merlin. Merlin was not phased by them.

Guin would love to visit Trudy's place in the mountains. She was always very spoiled there. And they had squirrels to chase.

Eventhough Guin was a 100lb rottweiller, she thought she was a lap dog. This can happen when you carry her around all the time when she was little. This was the only chair she was allowed in. I can hear her growl of delight now.

When there were no cats to chase Guin would try to chase anything. Here is the Christmas train set. Mordred did not seem to care.
We never did figure out how these two huge dogs could fit on such a small pillow. But they always did.

Guin loved to travel with us. This first pic is of one of our drives cross country.

Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forrest. The tree is a few hundred years old.

Chirstmas never started until Guin got to wear the wreath. She only got this treatment while the tree was being decorated.

Guin we will miss you!
