01-30-2005 City Cafe, HEB and I, Robot

Sunday, January 30, it is cloudy and cool. I read most of the morning; Breathing Lessons by Anne Tyler. Around 2:00 we went to City Cafe in Elgin and split the chicken fajitas. There was a big crowd in there for such a cold and rainy day. As we left I bought two boxes of Girl Scout cookies from the poor girls freezing out by the front door.

We zoomed through HEB for groceries and came back to read the 'Big Paper.' Then we had popcorn and watched one of our movie rentals; I, Robot. It was kind of fun to see just after we both had read the Asimov short stories. We snacked on leftover pizza. Might as well make a total junk food night of it. Of course, my homemade Chicken and Artichoke pizza can hardly be classified as junk food--Can it?

It's 8:48 p.m. and 45.9 degrees.
