Wednesday, January 19, we lounged all morning; we're getting good at that. Around 1:00 we went to Hong Kong Restaurant in Elgin for lunch. We got a paper next door and then headed to the Elgin driving range. We played an 18-hole imaginary round at Blue Bonnet (one of our favorite Austin courses.) I started off poorly but got better as we went along. It is much harder to pick a specific target at the driving range and shoot for it with someone watching and measuring your results. As opposed to just getting up there and 'letting the big dog eat' as they say in golf lingo. Our new camera will shoot multi-burst shots of our golf swing. When I get it all figured out I want to do that so we can see the error of our ways. After the driving range we dragged our stiff joints home. Bob made a pot of chili while I put the garnish on my Key Lime Pie for Glenda's tonight. Then we put up the hooks we got at Wal-Mart and hung our new window covering in the bedroom. It looks great above the bed. I even took digital pictures! Imagine that, I can put photos on my Web Page in real-time. It doesn't get any more high-tech that that! We can't wait to see how dark it will be tonight in there. We have a bright street light shining in from behind the trailer at this site.

We had a nice visit. The new West Wing episode this week was really a good one. Leo came back to the White House and got everybody back on track with his '365 days' speech. I got all of my PC business done. I got to chat with Patti for a bit even though she was grandmothering tonight at first.
It is a warm evening so Glenda had no fire going in the fireplace. But the coffee and tea were nice and warm and really complimented the Key Lime Pie. We left around 11:00. The Beauty had a slight chill when we got home but we curled up on the couch with the heater pointed our way. When the bedroom temperature got up to 64 degrees we called it a night and turned in. The bedroom is a bat cave in spite of a very bright 3/4 full moon tonight. Our final window covering has really made it dark in there.
