12-12-2004 Headache, Groceries, Christmas Decorating and Journaling

Sunday, December 12, I woke up with a migraine. Too much sun, chocolate and wine yesterday. We always do it to ourselves and there is no one left to blame. I did my golf stretches, had a strong cup of coffee, stared out the window at our new Pleasant Grove view and basked in the glow of the rising sun.

We had a light breakfast of fruit and bagels. Then we just relaxed for the rest of the morning. Around noon we found Manuel and paid for a month (still $195.00.) Then we cleaned tar off of The Beast and bugs off of The Beauty. We had lunch and went to HEB in Elgin for groceries. It was weird to go to a grocery store we were familiar with (I even recognized a few shoppers and employees.) Bob said it was weird to know exactly how to get there.

Back home we read the Sunday paper. I put out my meager Christmas decorations. It was quite warm today; in the upper 70's. But that is supposed to change drastically tomorrow. There's not much on TV so we're reading and journaling.

It's 8:48 p.m. and 56.3 degrees.
