Trumpot!

This tea pot was quite a production (and ended up melting to the stilts as I glazed-fired it on it's side), but it is a terrific record of some of my favorite glazes and finishes. The base was an extruded cylinder to which I applied strips of angular extrusions to create the 'pant crease' effect. The handle and spout are also extrusions. The pot is glazed in Tenmoku, the handle, feet, lid and spout in Bronze and the base is washed with iron oxide -- all-in-all a great combination!
