Try as you might you can't pick your neighbors.

I wish I had some profound or even mildly amusing words to spew what with this being the holiday season and all.  Unfortunately I cannot. For once again someone has tweaked a pet peeve and this one is a doozy.

Note:  This one was written around Christmas time.  I've snipped the discussion of the X-Files paraphernalia I'd scored.

Now on to my rant.  I'm sorry to have to do this to you what with it being a holiday and all but this is something I really can't keep to myself.  This morning I was lying in bed watching movies of dubious quality on cable, (Not those kind of movies!) when I heard my upstairs neighbors arguing.  I don't much care for them and my dislike for them has only grown since this incident.  They were yelling loud enough for me to hear their entire conversation.  Anyway, suffice it to say that I heard sounds of a fight above me.  I wasn't sure if it was the two of them but when I heard him say he would bleep her up or something to that effect I called the cops.  Being nosy, when the cops arrived I listened at the bathroom window.  After having the cops wait for several minutes, she answers the door bleeding.  When asked about it she says she cut herself which was complete and utter crap because I heard him hit her.  The cops wanted to enter the house because they saw her bleeding but she wouldn't let them in.  The police ended up telling her that if someone called the them again because of their fighting they would take both of them in.

These two really piss me off. First of all, any man who beats up on a woman is a complete and total punk.  He wasn't even man enough to answer the bleepin' door.  And why the hell she puts up with this I don't know.  This is not the first time I've called the cops because one of their arguments turned violent.  I can hear her crying through the ceiling.  He deserved to end up in jail.  Maybe he'd keep his hands to himself.  These two low-lifes have a daughter.  Is this the way they want her to end up conducting her relationships?  What if they end up having a son?  Who the bleep do they think they are inflicting another punk ass on the world to beat up on someone else's daughter?

I like these people less and less the longer they live above me.
